Kona 2014: TJ Tollakson's Dimond Bike
I'm just a huge fan of the Dimond bike. The clean lines, the radical design, and the lack of gimmicks make it a big bucket of win for me. I caught up with company founder T.J. Tollakson and got a look at his Kona rig, appointed with a beautiful slate grey and red color scheme that looks completely wicked. Tollakson is still riding his radical hands-up position, which works well in the tunnel for him. It's bolstered by some clever custom-made elbow cups he made to hold his arms in position without any extra effort. He rocks TriRig Omega brakes both front and rear. Dual Zipp 808's and Shimano Di2 components round out the component list. Good luck on Saturday, T.J.!
