Tim Don's Specialized Shiv
Tim's Shiv looks absolutely beautiful from the front, especially with the TriRig Omega brake and Sigma stem keeping everything narrow and managing the cables.
Tim Don is one of the most decorated athletes in the sport of triathlon. He built his career on the ITU circuit, first winning a Junior World Champion title, and then moving on to the senior bracket with excellent results, winning a number of races outright, and maintaining a high ITU ranking throughout his career. More recently, he has moved into the Ironman circuit, starting with 70.3 races in 2013 and 2014, and will compete in his first full-Ironman-distance race later this year.
Tim reached out to TriRig.com asking if we could help with some equipment cleanup, and as usual, we are only too happy to work with an athlete of Tim's calibre. We installed Omega SV brakes on the front and rear of his Specialized Shiv, and put a TriRig Sigma stem up front to hold onto his Enve SES aerobar. Furthermore, we cleaned up the cable routing, and ensured that his BTA setup was as sleek as can be. Tim is ready to race the Panama 70.3 in about 10 days time, and we wish him the best at that race, and for the rest of the season.
