Omega SL Lightweight Rim Brakes: The Pinnacle of Lightweight Performance

The Omega SL combines over 12 years of brake design innovation into one sleek package. Building on the success of the Omega One, the Omega SL retains the same robust mechanical formula while stripping away any excess, making it the lightest rim brake available at just 81 grams.

The Omega SL delivers the same exceptional stopping power and ultra-smooth modulation that riders have come to expect from the Omega brake line. With none of the headaches often found in other ultralight designs, the Omega SL boasts simple installation, straightforward cable routing, and no need for specialized fasteners.

Three sets of pad holders allow for easy stance width adjustments, giving you full control without the additional weight of a split-arm design. And unlike other exotic carbon brakes, the Omega SL includes all hardware and Koolstop Salmon pads, ensuring it's the lightest production brake—without sacrificing performance. The Omega SL Lightweight Rim Brakes offer lightweight performance, giving riders the confidence to push their limits while enjoying superior stopping power.

TriRig designs innovative, aerodynamic products built with elite athletes and proven through real-world performance. With a relentless focus on progress, problem-solving, and minimal design, every product helps athletes push limits and achieve their personal best.

  • Ultralight Design: Weighs only 81 grams (including hardware and Koolstop Salmon pads), making it the lightest rim brake in production.
  • Skeletal Structure: Stripped-down design maintains the strength and reliability of the Omega One, with minimal weight.
  • Simple Installation: Installs like any other Omega brake with no complicated cable routing or specialized fasteners.
  • Smooth Modulation & Powerful Stopping: Delivers the same smooth modulation and exceptional stopping power as the Omega One.
  • Adjustable Pad Holders: Includes three sets of pad holders for stance width adjustment without the added weight of a split-arm design.
  • Compatible with most bikes using rim brakes, ensuring universal fit and adjustability.
  • Includes all necessary hardware for seamless installation.

Orders start processing fast!  We aim to have orders, placed before noon MT on business days (non-holiday Mondays through Fridays), leave the warehouse that same day. Orders placed after noon (MT) on a business day, or on a weekend, will ship the following business day.

TriRig ships most packages via OSM / USPS and FedEx although we may change these at any time.

📦 Shipping Insurance:

Lightest Rim Brake Ever Made

Say hello to Omega SL: our most refined brake ever. This is what happens when you take all the technology from 12 years of brake design, and whittle it down to the absolute bare minimum. Omega SL's skeletal design retains the robust mechanical formula of its big brother Omega One, but in a package that makes it the lightest production rim brake ever.

Optimized, Improved & Superlight

Because it's an Omega brake, the Omega SL has none of the headaches usually found on ultralight designs: no finicky cable routing, no specialized fasteners or assembly methods. The brake installs and functions just like every Omega ever made, with the same stopping power and ultra-smooth modulation.

Practical & Superlight

Three sets of pad holders allow for stance width adjustment without the additional weight of Omega One's split-arm design. At just 81g for a complete brake (incl all hardware and Koolstop Salmon pads), it's the lightest production brake available anywhere. Exotic carbon brakes often show weights with pads, pad holders, and other hardware missing. Once all the hardware is actually on the scale, Omega SL takes the crown even against brakes costing a thousand dollars more.
