Introducing Alpha Prime: our fastest bar EVER.

For fifteen years, TriRig has made the fastest and most user-friendly aerobars on the planet, which we call Alpha. These award-winning bars have been the gold standard for aerodynamics, adjustable fit, and future-proof design. Today, we are proud to unveil the next generation, and the most advanced bar we have ever designed: this is Alpha Prime.

Alpha Prime takes the patented stack and tilt mechanism from its predecessor, and brings it to the next level, with improved usability, compatibility, and aerodynamics. This is the slickest, fastest, most adjustable bar on the market, and compatible with the widest possible range of bikes.

The heart of the system is the Alpha Prime Base bar, the fastest wing we have ever tested, sculpted from the ground up as a single continuous surface from the hand grips back to the stem clamp. The hand position is tilted up ever so gently at 5 degrees for improved stability when you’re out on the drops, but without compromising on aero performance. The grips have built-in texturing to allow you to skip the bar tape if you prefer an ultra-clean setup. The integrated stem cavity is hollow, for easy integration with electronic systems, and enough room for a Di2 junction, mechanical cables, or hydraulic lines. Internal routing protection means it’s always a cinch to get your cables going where they need to go, while staying hidden from the wind.

Brand new to Alpha Prime is its ultra-modular routing options. Careful shaping underneath the stem block allows cables, wires, or hydraulic lines to be routed UNDERNEATH the bars when needed, straight into the head tube or headset-based routing solutions found on some modern bikes. And it retains standard behind-the-stem routing traditional top tube cable paths. The integrated top cap and cable cover means you can get everything routed in a simple and straightforward manner no matter what bike you’re on, and collect everything under the cover for clean routing that remains easily accessible for maintenance or adjustment.

The long story short – Alpha Prime can work on most bicycles regardless of their specifications or cable routing. Rim brake, disc brake, top tube routing, headset routing, Alpha Prime will work with just about anything.

Cockpit adjustments revolve around the all-new Modular Dragonfly. It uses our patented continuous tilt design, and adds a massive range of cup mounts, an integrated BTA mount, and removable extension clamps. Whether you’re using standard extensions and cups, or super extensions like our Scoops Ultimate SL, you’ll have the slickest possible setup right out of the box.  Bolts are always accessible and never occluded, so you can make whatever adjustment you need with a single 4mm wrench.

Just below the Dragonfly is the new Sawtooth Monopost, offering the same broad range of stack and tilt adjustment TriRig is known for, but now with a notched locking mechanism which keeps the post in place for predictable, repeatable bike fits, and rock solid durability.

And … the new Sawtooth Monopost and Dragonfly Prime are both backwards-compatible with Alpha One, for customers who want to take advantage of these new technologies without buying an entirely new base bar.

Alpha Prime makes bike fit a snap. All fit adjustments are done with a single 4mm wrench. One bolt controls your stack, and two bolts control your tilt. It’s so easy, you can make an adjustment mid-ride if you like. Want to try something new? Just stop, make a quick change with a single wrench, then be back on your way in 30 seconds flat.
