Andrew Yoder is one of those kids who's both really amazing and really annoying. Amazing, because at the tender age of 21, he's one of triathlon's youngest stars. He's a member of the venerable Trek/K-Swiss squad, and calls athletes the likes of Chris Lieto and Julie Dibens his peers. That's where annoying comes in. He makes the rest of us look bad. Or old. In any case, he's clearly the future of triathlon, and he has the bike to match. His Trek Speed Concept 9.9 is the envy of pros and amateurs alike, and his complete rig has all the bells and whistles one would expect of such a superbike.

About the bike:

What's not to like? This rig has it all. The Speed Concept frame is equipped with full SRAM Red componentry and R2C shifters. Yoder runs an SRM crankset mated to a 170mm SRAM Red crank arm, with a 54t chainring. Not present at the shoot were Yoder's race wheels, the Bontrager Aeolus. We're not sure what depth he prefers to run, but most of his teammates are on the 6.5's. The bike is new, top-of-the-line, and fast. A lot like its rider.
